Necklace - Australian Opal pendant, Ethiopian Opal chain

This necklace is nothing short of spectacular.  A lively 19x14 mm Opal from Australia features flames of green, blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow and everything in between.  This stunning gem is set in a frame of recycled 18k gold.  The pendant is a truncated oval, an homage to the Art Nouveau movement that celebrated Opals and their iridescence.  The chain is hand made, link by link, with round Opal beads from Ethiopia.  The translucent beads offer a more subtle version of the same color-scape.  This unique one-of-a-kind necklace will get noticed.
